In case you missed the recent news, the owners of Kittie’s Cakes in German Village and Bexley have purchased Highline Coffee in Old Worthington!
Expect some changes and updates in the future, but for now Kittie’s Highline, as it’s being called, continues being the cozy corner space in the historic district. The back room is still occupied by Shift Studios, and some of the wall space is still dedicated to the Highline Art Space featuring local artists.
The biggest change is a new spread of Kittie’s pastries, featured front and center on the counter.
This includes everything from cupcakes to scones to cinnamon rolls to garlic buns to biscuits with jam in them.
You’ll often spy new owners Steve and Diane Herman behind the counter.
At the moment Kittie’s continues serving One Line Coffee, which Highline proudly featured, although Kittie’s uses Portland-based Stumptown Coffee Roasters.
We’ve loved Highline and we’re excited to have Kittie’s in the neighborhood, and we’re curious to see how they expand on its success.
