No matter where we travel, I love seeking out the hole-in-the-wall diners, and if you’re exploring Granville, consider the Aladdin Diner! The unassuming eatery sits on Broadway Street downtown, tucked into amongst the various storefronts of the main drag.
The long and narrow space is bustling pretty much all the time, with a small line of eager diners near the front door on weekends.
In addition to rows of small booths, there’s a counter looking over the grill – always my favorite place to sit in a diner.
The menu covers all your favorites: breakfast burritos and sandwiches, French toast and hotcakes, omelets, biscuits and gravy.
On my recent visit I opted for the filling breakfast burrito, served with a mild salsa and sour cream, plus a side of hash browns. (And I couldn’t help adding on a small bowl of nicely seasoned sausage gravy.)
If you’re hungry and planning a day of exploring Granville or greater Licking County, the Aladdin Diner is certainly a fun local stop that will fill you up before sending you on your way!
