Boston Stoker Coffee Opens its New Shop in Shawnee Hills

April 13, 2023

On Friday, April 14, Boston Stoker Coffee Roasters opens its newest location, and second in central Ohio, on Glick Road in Shawnee Hills. The coffee shop sits in a new development just west of the Scioto River, across from the Columbus Zoo.

The Dayton-based coffee roaster and shop has long had a presence in central Ohio, first with a series of shops along Neil Avenue that have since closed, and most recently with a new shop on First Avenue in Grandview in the former Luck Bros space.

The coffee features a full menu of espresso, drip coffee, cold brew, flavored and blend drinks, tea, plus a small food menu of breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, fruit, and baked goods.

The toasted breakfast sandwiches can be filled with bacon, sausage, or veggies.

Baked goods range from cakes and cookies to bagels, scones, fruit-filled turnovers, muffins, brownies.

The shop includes a variety of seating, free wifi, and a small front patio. There’s even a small kids area with a pint-sized wooden coffee shop, complete with espresso machine!

And there’s a full retail wall with Boston Stoker beans, mugs, candies, coffee brewing equipment. In addition to coffee, Boston Stoker has long featured cigars, so there’s an entire wall-length humidor.

The Shawnee Hills shop has soft opened already, with a full grand opening planned for Friday, April 14.
