The colorful, hot dog-centric Weenie Wonder opened a second location last week, this one at Easton, attached to the existing Pins Mechanical Co. The first Weenie Wonder, a concept from Rise Brands, opened last year at Dublin’s Bridge Park.

Weenie Wonder offers a modern take on a hot dog joint, serving up an easy-to-love menu of classic and creative hot dogs, mac and cheese, tater tots, jojos (potato wedges, for those who didn’t grow up in a region where the term is popular), cole slaw, shakes, and cookies.

Guests line up along the grill to order their hot dogs and sides.

You can build your own or choose from renditions like Bloody Mary, New York Reuben, Nacho Supreme, Classic Coney, Chi-town, or Frito Pie.

Hot dogs are quickly assembled right in front of you as you move down the line.

I mean, what’s not to love about these? I appreciate the hot dogs with casings that are browned on the flattop.

They do justice by classics like a good old Chicago dog.

Weenie Wonder very smartly opens right into the massive Pins Mechanical Co./16-Bit Bar + Arcade complex at Easton. It spans two levels with multiple spaces.

Guests are welcome to wander between the different areas, so you can reserve a lane at Pins, order drinks from the bar, grab hot dogs from Weenie Wonder, play games from 16-Bit.

There are multiple bars scattered throughout the space, with additional activities like ping pong tables and bocce courts.

Multiple rooms feature the arcade games and pinball machines of 16-Bit.

And there are fun features scattered throughout, like a giant Lite-Brite where we made Mario!

And for those who want a little fresh air, the complex features a second story covered patio with firepits and games.
Weenie Wonder at Easton is currently open Sunday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m, and Friday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
